Ingredients



For the orange sauce
1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
1/4 tsp cornflour mixed with 2 tsp water
1 1/2 tsp honey

To be blended together into orange sandesh
1/4 cup freshly made paneer (cottage cheese)
2 tsp powdered sugar
3/4 tsp orange flavoured tang

Other ingredients
4 orange segments for the topping
1 small sized banana, cut into thick roundles for the topping

  1. Heat a non-stick pan, add the orange juice and cornflour paste and mix well.
  2. Simmer on a slow flame while stirring continuously till it thickens.
  3. Add the honey, mix well and simmer for another 1 minute.
  4. Remove form the flame and keep aside.

  1. Divide the orange sandesh into 4 equal portions and keep aside.
  2. Take each orange segment, slit vertically along the centre of the broad side and open it to make a round. Keep aside.
  3. Take a small glass plate, put one portion of the orange sanesh at the bottom and spread it evenly.
  4. Arrange an orange segment and bananas evenly over it. Refrigerate to chill.
  5. Warm the orange sauce and keep aside.
  6. Just before serving, pour 1 tbsp of the warm orange sauce over the fruits and serve immediately.
  7. Repeat with the remaining ingredients to make 3 more servings.
