Mint Drink

Sip on this drink before or after meals to tame down the stomach acids!

While regular Mint Juice is also good for acidity, this version of the Mint Drink that is made of mint leaves cooked with salt, has a richer flavour that is appealing to the taste buds.

Plus, preparing it this way also does away with sugar which can aggravate acidity. Chop the mint very finely for a good mouthfeel.

CB - steeping the crushed mint in water brings out the flavour, but do not boil as it tastes bitter. I used the pulp to make chaas and the juice to make jaljeera

I made this for my sis-in-law who suffers from acidity quite often and she really felt relieved. This remedy really works. do try it... the mint leaves a very flavourful after taste in the mouth.
