Raw Banana Rosti recipe - How to make Raw Banana Rosti

Ingredients


4 raw bananas
3/4 cup roasted salted peanuts , crushed
2 tsp finely chopped green chillies
3 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp coarsely crushed cumin seeds (jeera)
salt to taste
oil for greasing and cooking

Method
    Main procedure
  1. Place the raw bananas with the skin on a microwave turn table and microwave on high for 4 minutes.
  2. Remove from the microwave, peel the bananas and grate them thickly.
  3. Add all the remaining ingredients and mix well.
  4. Grease a non-stick mini uttapa pan with a little oil, pour approximately 1½ tbsp of the mixture in each mould and spread it lightly.
  5. Cook them using a little oil, till they turn crisp and golden brown from both the sides.
  6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 to make one more batch of rostis.
  7. Serve immediately.

Tips
  1. To avoid the bananas turning black, grate them just before cooking or soak them in water, wash and drain before mixing other ingredients.

I tried it today and it tasted amazing. I only added the ingredients that were mentioned but you can customise the spices and things based on your taste like adding coriander leaves, cheese, garam masala.
