How to make Lettuce Wraps Tags Indian WrapsWestern PartyHealthy Snacks Entertaining IdeasHealthy Snacky Meals Preparation Time: 25 mins   Cooking Time: 6 mins   Total Time: 31 mins     14Makes 14 wraps Show me for wraps Ingredients For The Vegetable Stuffing1/2 cup finely chopped carrot1/2 cup finely chopped baby corn5 tbsp finely chopped french beans3/4 cup finely chopped cabbage1 tbsp sesame (til) oil a pinch of baking soda1/2 tsp green chilli paste salt to taste1/4 cup finely chopped bean sprouts2 tbsp roasted and powdered peanuts2 tbsp pinenuts (chilgoza)To Be Mixed Into A Sauce2 tbsp readymade plum sauce1/4 tsp dried thyme1/4 tsp dried parsleyOther Ingredients14 iceberg lettuce leaves3 1/2 tsp red garlic sauce7 tbsp finely chopped spring onion greens Method For the vegetable stuffingFor the vegetable stuffingHeat the sesame oil in a broad non-stick pan, add the carrot, baby corn, french beans, cabbage and baking soda and sauté on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes.Add the green chilli paste and salt and sauté on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes.Add the bean sprouts and sauté on a medium flame for 10 seconds.Switch off the flame, add the peanuts and pinenuts and mix well. Keep aside.How to proceedHow to proceedDivide the vegetable stuffing into 14 equal portions. Keep aside.Place a lettuce leaf on a clean, dry surface, put a little plum sauce in the centre and spread it evenly.Place a portion of the vegetable stuffing on it and spread it evenly.Finally spread ¼ tsp of red garlic sauce and sprinkle ½ tbsp of spring onion greens evenly over it.Roll it up tightly and seal it with a toothpick.Repeat steps 2 to 5 to make 13 more wraps.Serve immediately.
