Ingredients


For The Mashed Potatoes
6 medium boiled and peeled potatoes
2 tbsp soft butter
1 tbsp fresh cream
salt and freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch) to taste

For Sautéed Vegetables
2 tbsp soft butter
3/4 cup diagonally cut and parboiled mixed vegetables (French beans, carrot and green peas)
1/4 cup boiled green peas
salt and freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch) to taste

Method
For the mashed potatoes

  1. Mash the boiled potatoes with help of a spoon in a strainer in a deep bowl.
  2. Add the butter, fresh cream, salt and pepper and mix well. Keep aside.

For sautéed vegetables

  1. Heat the butter in a broad non-stick pan, add the mixed vegetables, green peas, salt and pepper and sauté on a medium flame for 2 minutes. Keep aside.

This recipe is just a perfect Continental dish that can be enjoyed best as said with some vegetables sauteed in butter, I love to eat hot just made mashed potatoes they taste sooo good.
