Ingredients



To be ground to a tomato paste
3/4 cup chopped tomatoes
1/2 cup chopped onions
25 mm. (1") piece of ginger (adrak), roughly chopped
2 cloves of garlic (lehsun), roughly chopped
1 tsp chilli powder

Other ingredients
2 tbsp butter
2 cinnamon (dalchini) sticks
2 cloves (laung / lavang)
2 cardamoms (elaichi)
10 to 12 baby potatoes, boiled and peeled
4 tbsp fresh cream
1/2 tsp sugar (optional)
salt to taste

Method
    Main Procedure
  1. Heat the butter in a pan, add the cinnamon, cloves and cardamoms and fry for a few seconds.
  2. Add the prepared tomato paste and sauté for 2 to 3 minutes.
  3. Add the potatoes, cream, sugar and salt and cook for 5 to 6 minutes.
  4. Serve hot.
