Here is a tongue-tickling dessert that overrides both fears. This exciting Pineapple Sheera sends your taste buds into a tizzy with its tangy flavour and rich consistency, while still being very easy to prepare and ready to be served within minutes!

Ingredients

1/2 cup fresh pineapple purée
1/4 cup ghee
1/2 cup semolina (rava)
1/2 cup sugar

For The Garnish
2 tbsp almond (badam) slivers

Method

  1. Heat the ghee in a broad non-stick pan, the semolina, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes or till the semolina leaves the aroma, while stirring continuously.
  2. Add the pineapple purée and 1 cup of water, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes, while stirring continuously.
  3. Add the sugar, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes, while stirring continuously.
  4. Serve warm garnished with almond slivers.

I love all kinds of sheeras, but this one with the pineapple one is my all time favourite, I often make this for my family and they relish it !!
