Hot Garlic Sauce, Chinese Style Sauce Video. Ingredients


For Hot Garlic Sauce
1 1/2 tbsp finely chopped garlic (lehsun)
1/4 cup schezwan sauce
1/4 cup red chilli sauce
1 tbsp cornflour
1 1/2 tbsp oil
1/2 tsp finely chopped ginger (adrak)
1 tsp finely chopped green chillies
1/2 cup finely chopped spring onions whites and greens
1/2 tsp soy sauce
salt to taste

Method

For hot garlic sauce

  1. To make {span class="bold1"}hot garlic sauce{/span}, combine the cornflour and ¾ cup of water in a bowl and mix very well. Keep aside.
  2. Heat the oil in a broad non-stick pan, add the garlic, ginger and green chillies and sauté on a medium flame for 30 seconds.
  3. Add the spring onions, schezuan sauce, chilli sauce, soy sauce mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 minute, while stirring occasionally.
  4. Add the cornflour-water mixture and salt, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 minute, while stirring continuously. Use the {span class="bold1"}hot garlic sauce{/span} as required.
