jhatpat samosa recipe | Indian quick veg samosa | paneer and onion samosa | crispy patti samosa is made of: 24 sheets samosa pattis, 1 1/4 cups crumbled paneer (cottage cheese), 3/4 cup grated processed cheese, 1/4 cup finely chopped onions, 1/2 cup finely chopped capsicum, 2 tsp finely chopped green chillies, 5 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania), 2 tsp dry red chilli flakes (paprika), 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch), salt to taste, 2 tbsp plain flour (maida), green chutney and tomato ketchup. how to make stuffing and slurry for samosa-
To make jhatpat samosa recipe | Indian quick veg samosa | paneer and onion samosa | crispy patti samosa |, in a deep bowl, add 1 1/4 cups crumbled paneer (cottage cheese).

Add 3/4 cup grated processed cheese.

Add 1/4 cup finely chopped onions.

Add 1/2 cup finely chopped capsicum.

Add 2 tsp finely chopped green chillies.

Add 5 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania).

Add 2 tsp dry red chilli flakes (paprika).

Add 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch).

Add salt to taste.

Mix well and keep aside.

In a small bowl, take 2 tbsp plain flour (maida).

Add 4 tbsp water.

Mix well using a whisk. Keep aside.

This is how samosa patti looks like.

Place a samosa patti on a clean, dry surface.

Fold the right top corner of the samosa patti on the opposite side to form a triangle.

Fold the entire triangle diagonally on the opposite side.

Fill 1 tbsp stuffing in the cone.

Fold the samosa patti like shown in the image to seal the edges.

Using the plain flour-water mixture so that the filling does not spill out.

Repeat steps 2 to 6 to make 23 more samosas.

Heat the oil in a deep non-stick pan.

And deep-fry a few samosas, at a time on a medium flame, till they turn golden brown in colour from all the sides.

Drain on an absorbent paper.

Store the samosa sheets in the freezer, and remove it ½ an hour before using.

You can make and freeze these samosa in an air tight container or in a zip lock bag for 1 week.

Cover the samosa with a damp muslin cloth to avoid drying and breaking of sheets.
