Ingredients

3 roasted red capsicum , at room temperature
125 gms cream cheese , softened
2 garlic (lehsun) cloves , crushed
1/3 cup chopped basil leaves
salt to taste
1/2 tsp black peppercorns (kalimirch) powder

For Garnishing
few basil leaves

For Serving
bread or
sesame lavash

Method
    Method
  1. Peel off the skin of roasted capsicum, cut in to pieces and remove the seeds.
  2. Add cream cheese, garlic, salt and pepper and blend in a mixer to a smooth paste.
  3. Pour into bowl.
  4. Add finely chopped basil leaves into capsicum mixture. Mix well.
  5. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  6. Spoon dip into a serving bowl.
  7. Garnish with basil leaves.
  8. Serve immediately with bread or sesame lavash.

  1. This dip is best if made one day before serving to allow flavours to develop overnight.
