Ingredients


For The Filling
1 cup cream style corn
1 tbsp oil
1 tsp finely chopped green chillies
1/2 cup chopped onions
2 tbsp chopped carrot
2 tbsp chopped capsicum
1 1/2 tsp red chilli sauce
salt to taste

14 readymade tarts
14 tbsp grated processed cheese

Method
For the filling

  1. Heat the oil in a broad non-stick pan, add the green chillies and onions and sauté on a medium flame for 1 minute.
  2. Add the capsicum and carrot and sauté on a medium flame for 2 minutes.
  3. Add the canned corn, red chilli sauce and salt, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes, while stirring occasionally. Keep aside.

How to proceed

  1. Just before serving, re-heat the filling, put 1 tbsp of the filling and 1 tbsp of cheese in each tart.
  2. Serve immediately.

This recipe is crispy from outside and the filling is melting in the mouth. I love the idea of using readymade tarts that are nowdays available everywhere. I make this when I have parties and my guest eat it up within minutes.
