Ingredients


3 cups long grained rice (basmati)
4 onions, vegetables small pieses (mutter, carrot, french bean, potetoes)saffron
ghee
dry coriander seed
ginger-garlic
9 cloves (laung / lavang)
chilli powder
hing, mint leaves, salt, jeera

Method

  1. 1. grind ginger-garlic, jeera, coriander seeds, cloves, mintleaves to a fine paste, mix saffron with milk. 2. add chilly powder and salt to paste, marinate the veg. in the paste, pour the saffronwaterin the rice.
  2. 3. take ghee in cooker add hing, put half the rice in cooker, spread a layer of onions on the rice.o
  3. 4. over the onion layer arrenge the marinated vegs, on top remaining rice, heat ghee and pour on top.
  4. 5. add one and half cup of hot waterand presser cook for 15 minutes and serve hot.
