The streets of Mumbai are dotted with vendors selling "ganne ka ras" (sugarcane juice) extracted by pressing the sweet " ganna" or sugarcane.


We are so familiar with the sight of fresh sugarcane juice that it is not a novelty. But when the same is frozen with a dash of ginger juice and lemon, it transforms itself into an exciting and delightful slush.

Ingredients

1 tbsp ginger (adrak) juice
5 cups sugarcane juice
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp salt

Method
    Method
  1. Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl and mix well.
  2. Pour the mixture into a shallow aluminium container and freeze for 5 hours.
  3. Blend in a mixer till slushy and serve immediately.
