Ingredients

3/4 cup plain flour (maida)
1 1/2 tbsp butter (room temperature)
1/2 cup grated processed cheese
1/4 tsp caraway seeds (shahjeera)
A pinch of salt
2 tbsp milk

Method
    Method
  1. Sieve the flour.
  2. Rub in the butter with finger tips.
  3. Add the cheese, caraway seeds and salt and make a dough by adding milk.
  4. Roll out the dough to about 6 mm. (1/4") thickness using a little plain flour for rolling and cut into small bite-sized pieces with a fancy cutter.
  5. Arrange on a greased baking tin and prick all over with a fork.
  6. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180°c (360°f) for 15 minutes.
  7. Serve as it is or with any dip of your choice.

Cheese crackers flavoured with jeera is a good tea time snack.I served these crackers as a starter with different dips..My guest loved them.. It is also a good jar snack for kids..
