Ingredients

1 cup boiled sweet corn kernels (makai ke dane)
1/2 cup semolina (rava)
1/4 cup urad dal (split black lentil) flour
1/2 cup finely chopped capsicum
1 tbsp curds (dahi)
1 tsp green chilli paste
1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera) powder
1/4 tsp asafoetida (hing)
1 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
salt to taste
1/2 tsp fruit salt

Other Ingredients
oil for greasing

For The Garnish
1/4 cup grated processed cheese

Method
    Method
  1. Combine all the ingredients, except the fruit salt in a deep bowl along with 1 cup of water and mix well.
  2. Just before making the waffles, add the fruit salt, sprinkle 2 tsp of water over it and mix gently.
  3. Divide the batter into 3 equal portions.
  4. Pre-heat a waffle iron.
  5. Lightly grease the waffle iron with little oil, pour a portion waffle batter and spread evenly and cook for 8 minutes or till the waffle is golden brown in colour from both the sides.
  6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 to make 2 more waffles.
  7. Serve immediately garnished with cheese.
