Ingredients


For Cheesy Corn Rava Waffles
1 cup semolina (rava / sooji)
1/2 cup boiled and coarsely crushed sweet corn kernels (makai ke dane)
1/4 cup boiled sweet corn kernels (makai ke dane)
1/2 cup curd (dahi)
1/4 cup besan (bengal gram flour)
1/2 cup finely chopped capsicum
1/4 cup grated processed cheese
1 tsp green chilli paste
1 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
salt to taste
1/2 tsp fruit salt

Other Ingredients
3 tsp butter for greasing

Method

For cheesy corn rava waffles

  1. To make {span class="bold1"}cheesy corn rava waffle{/span}, combine all the ingredients, except the fruit salt in a deep bowl along with 1 cup of water and mix well.
  2. Just before making the waffles, add the fruit salt, sprinkle 2 tsp of water over it and mix gently.
  3. Pre-heat a waffle maker and lightly grease the waffle iron using 1 tsp butter for making each batch.
  4. Pour a portion waffle batter and spread evenly into two greased waffle moulds.
  5. Cover and cook for 8 minutes or till the waffle is golden brown in colour from both the sides.
  6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 to make 4 more waffles.
  7. Serve {span class="bold1"}cheesy corn rava waffle {/span} immediately garnished with cheese.
