3/4 cup fresh green peas
3/4 cup uncooked long grained rice (basmati)
2 tbsp ghee
1 small stick cinnamon (dalchini)
2 cloves (laung / lavang)
1 bayleaf (tejpatta)
2 tsp finely chopped green chillies
1/4 cup finely chopped onions
salt to taste

  1. Put the ghee in a microwave safe bowl and microwave on high for 20 seconds.
  2. Add the cinnamon, cloves, bay leaf, green chillies and onions, mix well and microwave on high for 2 minutes, while stirring once in between after 1 minute.
  3. Add the rice, green peas,1½ cups of water and salt, mix gently and cover with a microwave safe lid and microwave on high for 12 minutes, while stirring twice in between.
  4. Serve hot.

Green pea pulao, this so flavourful and simple recipe.. i love to have this just plain.. i have enjoyed making this.. in a microwave..

This recipe is Fast to Cook & Good to Eat It is very easy to make, perfect proportions of ingredients and very tasty with Kadhi, especially with gujarati kadhi
