Well-balanced proportions of grapefruit and fresh orange juice are sweetened mildly and perked up with mint leaves to make a tongue-tingling Minty Citrus Punch.

This is a sour and tangy drink, but have it chilled and your taste buds will thank you for the exotic and refreshing treat!

Choose really fresh mint leaves to get a sparkling flavour. Wilting leaves will leave a bad aftertaste.

2 cups pink grapefruit (papanus)
1 1/2 cups chilled fresh orange juice
1 1/2 tbsp powdered sugar
1/4 cup finely chopped mint leaves (phudina)

For Serving
crushed ice

  1. Combine the orange juice and grapefruit in a mixer and blend.
  2. Strain the mixture using a strainer.
  3. Transfer the punch into a deep bowl, add the mint leaves and sugar and mix well.
  4. Refrigerate for atleast 30 minutes and serve chilled.

This is a drink with a very sour taste. So if you like sour drinks then you will love this drink. As there is grapefruit in this recipe, it is tend to be sour. But the mint leaves adds a very pleasant flavour to this. The sugar used balances the sourness in this recipe.
