Ingredients


To Be Mixed Into Tikki Mixture
2 cups boiled colocasia (arbi)
2 tsp ginger (adrak)
1/4 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/4 tsp dried mango powder (amchur)
1 tsp coriander-cumin seeds (dhania-jeera) powder
1/2 tsp chaat masala
1/4 cup bread crumbs
1/4 cup finely chopped coriander (dhania)
salt to taste
oil for cooking

To Be Mixed Into Slurry
1/4 cup cornflour
2 tbsp plain flour (maida)
salt and to taste
1/3 cup water

Method
For arbi tikki

    For arbi tikki
  1. To make arbi tikki, divide and roll 11 equal portions of the tikki mixture into 2 inch (50 mm) tikki.
  2. Dip each tikki in the cornflour slurry and then coat it well in the breadcrumbs.
  3. Heat oil in a deep pan and deep fry few tikki at a time until golden brown and crisp.
  4. Drain on an absorbent paper.
  5. Serve the arbi tikki immediately.
