Ingredients


For The White Sauce
1 tbsp butter
1 1/2 tbsp plain flour (maida)
3/4 cup milk
salt and pepper to taste

Other Ingredients
2 cups broccoli florets
1 1/2 tsp oil
1 cup sliced mushrooms (khumbh) , stalks removed
salt and freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch) powder to taste
1 tbsp grated mozzrella cheese

Method

  1. Put the butter in a microwave safe bowl and microwave on high for 20 seconds.
  2. Add the flour, mix well and microwave on high for 20 seconds.
  3. Add the milk, whisk well and microwave on high for 1 minute.
  4. Add the salt and pepper, mix well and keep aside.

  1. Combine the broccoli with 1 tbsp of water in a microwave safe bowl and microwave on high for 3 minutes, stirring once in between after 1½ minutes. Keep aside.
  2. Combine 1 tsp of oil and mushrooms in another microwave safe bowl, mix well and microwave on high for 1 minute. Remove from the microwave and add the cooked broccoli, salt and pepper and mix well.
  3. Arrange this prepared vegetable mixture on the bottom of a greased microwave safe bowl, spread the white sauce and mozzarella cheese evenly over it and microwave on high on grill mode for 1 minute.
  4. Serve immediately.
