Ingredients

10 crepes

For The Filling
4 cups peeled and sliced bananas
3 tbsp butter
3 tbsp brown sugar

For The Flambé
2 tbsp rum (optional)

Method

  1. Combine the butter and sugar in a broad non-stick pan, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes or till the sugar dissolves.
  2. Add the bananas, mix gently and cook for more 2 to 3 minutes or till the sugar syrup coats the bananas evenly. Keep aside.

  1. Place a crêpe on a clean dry surface and place 2 tbsp of the filling on one half of the crêpe. Fold into a semi-circle and press gently.
  2. Repeat step 1 to make 9 more banana crêpes.
  3. Just before serving, place the crêpes on a serving plate. Keep aside.
  4. Pour the rum into a large spoon and warm it on a direct flame. Set alight and pour the burning rum over the crêpes.
  5. Serve immediately.

caramalised banana crepes.. a simple and quick recipe.. for lazy mornings.. i really enjoyed this recipe.. as it is loved by all in the house..

The crepes turned out to be really like the ones I've had in Paris!! And no eggs!!! Amazing!! My husband loved it!!
