Ingredients


For Cheese Balls
1 1/2 cups grated processed cheese
3/4 cup fresh bread crumbs
2 1/2 tbsp cornflour
1 tbsp plain flour (maida)
2 tsp finely chopped green chillies
1 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
salt and to taste
oil for deep-frying

For Serving With Cheese Balls
chilli sauce

Method

For cheese balls

  1. To make {span class="bold1"}cheese balls{/span}, combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl along with approx. 2 tbsp of water and mix very well.
  2. Divide the mixture into 35 equal portions and shape each portion into a ball.
  3. Heat the oil and deep-fry a few balls at time on a medium flame till they turn golden brown in colour from all the sides. Drain on an absorbent paper.
  4. Serve the {span class="bold1"}cheese balls{/span} immediately with chilli sauce.
