Ingredients

2 tbsp cocoa powder
1/4 cup plain flour (maida)
1/4 cup cornflour
1/4 cup milk
2 1/2 tbsp powdered sugar
1 tsp melted butter
a pinch of salt
butter for greasing and cooking

Method
    Method
  1. Combine the plain flour, cornflour, cocoa powder, milk, melted butter, salt and ¼ cup of water in a deep bowl and mix well using a whisk till no lumps remain.
  2. Heat a 150 mm. (6”) non-stick pan and brush it lightly with butter. Cool slightly, pour a ladleful of the mixture into the pan and tilt in a circular motion to make a 150 mm. (6”) round.
  3. Cook it, using a little butter, till light pink spots appear on both the sides.
  4. Repeat with the remaining batter to make 5 more crêpes.
  5. Use as required.
