Ingredients


For Paneer Pudina Tikki
1 cup grated paneer (cottage cheese)
1/4 cup finely chopped mint leaves (phudina)
2 tsp finely chopped green chillies
1 tbsp cornflour
salt to taste
1 1/4 tsp peanut oil for greasing and cooking

For The Garnish
1 tsp chaat masala

For Serving With Paneer Pudina Tikki
green chutney
tomato ketchup

Method

For paneer pudina tikki

  1. To make {span class="bold1"}paneer pudina tikki{/span}, combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
  2. Divide this mixture into 8 equal portions and shape each portion into a 37mm. (1½ “) diameter flat round tikki.
  3. Heat a non-stick tava (griddle) and grease it lightly using a little oil.
  4. Place the {span class="bold1"}paneer pudina tikkis{/span} on it and cook using a little oil, till they turn golden brown in colour from both the sides.
  5. Sprinkle chaat masala on top of the {span class="bold1"}paneer pudina tikkis{/span} and serve hot with green chutney and tomato ketchup.
