8 to 10 blanched asparagus , cut into 25 mm.(1") pieces
8 to 10 baby corn , cut into 25 mm. (1") pieces

For the cheese sauce
1 tsp finely chopped garlic
4 to 6 cheese slices
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/4 cup fresh cream
1/4 cup milk
1 tsp dry red chilli flakes (paprika)
2 tbsp butter
salt to taste

For the garnish
1 tsp chopped parsley

  1. Heat the butter in a non-stick pan, add the garlic and sauté for a few seconds.
  2. Add the cheese, oregano, cream, milk, chilli flakes and salt and stir over a slow flame till the cheese has melted to get a smooth cheese sauce.

How to proceed

  1. Heat one small sizzler plate till it is red hot and place it on its wooden tray.
  2. Arrange the asparagus and baby corn pieces over the hot sizzler plate.
  3. Pour the cheese sauce over.
  4. Serve immediately, garnished with the parsley.

the recipe as it is was delicious but the cheese sauce could also be had with many other things
