Vegetable Dal recipe - How to make Vegetable Dal
- Soak the gram dal in water for 3 hours and then grind coarsely with ginger,turmeric,salt,chilli powder.
- Chop finely the onion and chillies.
- Heat oil and add cumin seeds and mustard seeds. when mustard seeds start popping, add curry leaves,onions,chillies and saute for 2 minutes.add the vegetables and salt. fry for 2 minutes and then add the coarsely ground dal and mix well.add a little water and cover . keep on low flame for 2minutes.garnish with coriander and fresh grated coconut.s
