The batter, enhanced with green peas, green chillies and coriander, emerges into a very pleasantly coloured Uttapas stuffed with Green Peas, which has a snazzy, lingering flavour brought about mainly by coriander.

Serve these uttapas hot and fresh with Sambhar and Coconut Chutney .

3/4 cup boiled and coarsely crushed green peas
1 cup dosa batter
1 tsp finely chopped green chillies
1 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
salt to taste
oil for greasing and cooking

  1. Combine the green peas, green chillies, coriander and salt in a deep bowl, mix well and keep the green peas mixture aside.
  2. Heat a mini uttapa pan and grease it lightly using little oil.
  3. Pour a spoonful of the batter in each uttapa mould to make a 75 mm. (3") diameter round.
  4. Top each mini uttapa with 1 tsp of the green pea mixture and cook them, using a little oil, till they turn golden brown in colour from both the sides.
  5. Repeat steps 2 to 4 to make 11 more uttapas in 2 more batches.
  6. Serve hot.

Mini green pea uttapa these were really good in taste with pea stuffing.. Taste best with hot sambhar and chutney.. these mini uttapa is loved by all kids and adults.. best for a breakfast..
