Recipe Description for Oven Baked Pizza Cheese Sandwich, Cheesy Sandwich Pizza

Ingredients

For Oven Baked Pizza Cheese Sandwich
6 bread slices
1 cup sliced coloured capsicum
1/2 cup shredded cabbage
1/2 cup sliced onions
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp grated processed cheese
salt and to taste
butter for brushing and greasing
6 tsp readymade pizza sauce
6 tsp sliced black olives
6 tbsp grated processed cheese
9 mozzarella cheese cubes
dried oregano for sprinkling
dry red chilli flakes (paprika) for sprinkling

Method

For oven baked pizza cheese sandwich

1. To make {span class="bold1"}oven baked pizza cheese sandwich{/span}, combine the coloured capsicum, cabbage, onions, mayonnaise, cheese, salt and pepper in a deep bowl and mix well.
2. Divide the mixture into 3 equal portions and keep aside.
3. Place a bread slice on a clean, dry surface and spread a portion of the mixture evenly over it. Sandwich it using another bread slice and press it lightly.
4. Grill it in a pre-heated greased sandwich griller for 5 to 6 minutes or till it turns crisp and brown from both the sides.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 to make 2 more sandwiches.
6. Place all the 3 grilled sandwiches on a clean dry surface.
7. Spread 2 tsp of pizza sauce evenly over each sandwich.
8. Sprinkle 2 tsp of olives and 2 tbsp of processed cheese and place 3 mozzarella cheese cubes over each sandwich.
9. Finally sprinkle a little oregano and chilli flakes evenly over each sandwich.
10. Place all the 3 sandwich pizzas a on a baking tray and bake them in a pre-heated oven at 200°c (400°f) for 10 minutes or till the cheese melts completely.
11. Cut each {span class="bold1"}cheesy sandwich pizza{/span} diagonally into 2 pieces and serve immediately.
