Ingredients


For Cream Of Mushroom Soup
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp chopped garlic (lehsun)
1 cup sliced onions
2 cups sliced mushrooms (khumbh)
1/2 tsp dried mixed herbs
1 cup vegetable stock
2 tbsp fresh cream
salt and to taste

Method
For cream of mushroom soup

  1. To make cream of mushroom soup, heat butter in a broad pan, add garlic and onions and saute on medium flame for 2 minutes.
  2. Add mushrooms and saute on medium flame for 4 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
  3. Add mixed herbs, salt, pepper and vegetable stock and simmer for 4 to 5 minutes.
  4. Remove in a big plate and allow it to cool.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a mixer jar and blend to a smooth paste.
  6. Now transfer the paste into deep pan, add 1 cup water, fresh cream.
  7. Mix well and cook on medium flame for 3 minutes.
  8. Serve the cream of mushroom soup hot with toasted bread.

   We don''t use water while blending the mushroom but, we add it while simmering the soup. Please refer to the recipe.

Mushroom lover will like this soup..The taste come from oregano in this soup..I added a little more because i like the taste of oregano..Do try it if you like mushrooms..
