Fried Bananas

Fried Bananas recipe - How to make Fried Bananas

1 1/2 cups banana strips

To Be Mixed Into A Thick Batter (using Approx. 3/4 Cup Of Water)
4 tbsp plain flour (maida)
4 tbsp rice flour (chawal ka atta)
1 tbsp cornflour
a pinch of baking powder
a pinch of salt

Other Ingredients
oil for deep-frying

For Serving
4 scoops of vanilla ice-cream
brown sugar for sprinkling

Method

Heat the oil in a deep non-stick pan, dip the banana strips into the batter and deep-fry in hot oil, a few at a time on a medium flame, till they turn golden brown in colour from all the sides. Drain on an absorbent paper and keep aside.
Arrange the fried bananas on a big serving plate, top it with 4 scoops of vanilla ice-cream and finally sprinkle a little brown sugar evenly over it.
Serve immediately.

Fried bananas,, really awesome recipe.. never thought fried bananas can be served as a desert.. i made this instant desert for my guest.. they enjoyed this dish.. it was crunchy.. sweet and creamy with the ice cream.. The kids just could not stop eating this.. Thank you for this irrestible recipe..
