Ingredients

1/2 cup jowar (white millet) flour
1/2 cup boiled , peeled and mashed potatoes
1/2 cup thickly grated white radish
2 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
1 tsp finely chopped green chillies
salt to taste
1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1/4 tsp dried mango powder (amchur)
jowar (white millet) flour for rolling
oil for greasing and cooking

For Serving

Method
    Method
  1. Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl and knead into a soft, smooth dough, using little warm water if needed.
  2. Divide the dough into 6 equal portions and roll out one portion of the dough into a 100 mm. (4") diameter circle using jowar flour for rolling.
  3. Heat a non-stick tava (griddle) and grease it using a little oil.
  4. Cook the roti , using a little oil till brown spots appear on both sides.
  5. Repeat with the remaining portions to make 5 more rotis.
  6. Serve immediately with fresh curds.
