Cover and cook on a slow flame for another 5 to 7 minutes, while stirring occasionally. Add the saffron-water mixture and cardamom powder and mix well. Serve hot garnished with almond slivers.

Ingredients


For Moong Dal Sheera
1/2 cup yellow moong dal (split yellow gram)
1/2 cup ghee
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup sugar
1 tbsp almond (badam) slivers
1/4 tsp saffron (kesar) strands dissolved in 1 tbsp water
1/2 tsp cardamom (elaichi) powder

Method

   Hi, You can add little more warm milk and cook on a slow flame. for few minutes.
