For Paneer and Corn Chatpata Salad
1/2 cup paneer (cottage cheese) cubes
1 1/2 cups boiled sweet corn kernels (makai ke dane)
2 tsp chaat masala
1 tbsp oil
1 cup boiled potato cubes
1 cup chopped spring onions whites and greens
3/4 cup chopped tomatoes
1/2 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp finely chopped green chillies
1 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
salt to taste

Method

  1. To make paneer and corn chatpata salad, meat the oil in a broad non-stick pan, add the paneer cubes and sauté on a medium flame for 2 minutes while stirring occasionally or till light brown in colour. Remove and keep aside to cool.
  2. Combine all the ingredients, including the paneer in a deep bowl and toss gently.
  3. Serve the paneer and corn chatpata salad immediately.

the chatpata salad is a light snack and is also tangy with the chaat masala and the lemon. the lemon could used in it could be a bit more and this could be had with or without the chunda
