For The Sweet Corn Topping
1/2 cup boiled sweet corn kernels (makai ke dane)
1 tbsp butter
1/2 cup finely chopped onions
1/4 tsp green chilli paste
1/2 tbsp plain flour (maida)
1/2 cup milk
a pinch of sugar
salt and to taste

For The Spinach Topping
1/2 tbsp butter
1/4 cup finely chopped onions
1/4 tsp green chilli paste
2 cups finely chopped spinach (palak)
1 tbsp plain flour (maida)
1/2 cup milk
salt and to taste

Other Ingredients For Spinach and Corn Crackers
16 cream cracker biscuits
8 tsp grated processed cheese

Method
For the sweet corn topping

  1. Heat the butter in a broad non–stick pan, add the onions and sauté on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes.
  2. Add the green chilli paste and saute on a medium flame for 30 seconds.
  3. Add the plain flour and cook on a medium flame for 1 minute.
  4. Add the milk, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 30 seconds.
  5. Add the corn, sugar, salt and pepper, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 minute, while stirring continuously. Keep aside to cool slightly.

For the spinach topping
