Ingredients


For Vegetable Paneer Grilled Sandwich
8 bread slices
8 tsp butter
4 tsp green chutney
4 tsp tomato ketchup
2 tsp oil
8 thinly sliced paneer (cottage cheese)
salt and to taste
1/2 cup diced mozzarella cheese

To Be Mixed Into A Stuffing
1/2 cup shredded cabbage
1/4 cup thickly grated carrot
2 tsp finely chopped green chillies
2 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
salt and to taste

Method

For vegetable paneer grilled sandwich

  1. To make {span class="bold1"}vegetable paneer grilled sandwich{/span}, divide the stuffing into 4 equal portions and keep aside.
  2. Heat 2 tsp oil in a broad non-stick pan, place the paneer slices and sprinkle a little salt and pepper powder over it.
  3. Place 8 bread slices on a clean, dry surface. Apply 1 tsp of green chutney on 4 bread slices.
  4. Apply 1 tsp tomato ketchup on the remaining 4 bread slices.
  5. Place 2 paneer slices on green chutney applied bread slices. Spread 1 portion of the stuffing evenly over it.
  6. Put 1 tbsp diced mozzarella cheese over the stuffing. Sandwich it using ketchup bread side facing downwards.
  7. Grease the pre heated sandwich griller using 1 tsp butter. Place 2 sandwiches and apply ½ tsp butter on each sandwich.
  8. Grill the sandwich for 4 to 5 minutes or till it turns crispy and brown from both the sides.
  9. Cut the sandwich diagonally into 2 equal pieces. Repeat steps 7 to 9 to make 2 more sandwiches.
  10. Serve {span class="bold1"}vegetable paneer grilled sandwich{/span} immediately.
