Ingredients

3/4 cup deseeded and finely chopped black jamun
2 cups low-fat curds (dahi)
1 tsp sugar substitute
4 tbsp crushed ice

Method
    Method
  1. Combine all the ingredients, except the ice, in a mixer and blend till smooth and frothy.
  2. Pour the smoothie into 4 individual small glasses and top with 1 tbsp of crushed ice in each glass.
  3. Serve immediately.

I tried this recipe when jamuns were in season this year and I just loved it. If you are not diabetic, do try this smoothie with a little sugar instead of sugar substitute...

Jamun and low fat curds blend together to make a quick and healthy smoothie. Tangy and refreshing. I used a bit of sugar instead of the sugar substitute. Easy to make.
