Recipe Description for Eggless Fudgy Chocolate Crinkle Cookies, Vanilla Flavoured

Makes 7 cookies


Ingredients


For Eggless Crinkle Cookies
1 tbsp flaxseeds powder
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup powdered sugar
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup plain flour (maida)
1/2 tsp baking powder
a pinch of salt
1/2 cup icing sugar for rolling

Method

For eggless crinkle cookies

  1. To make {span class="bold1"}eggless crinkle cookies{/span}, in a small bowl, combine flax seeds powder and 3 tbsp of water, mix well and keep aside for 5 minutes.
  2. In a deep bowl, add olive oil, powdered sugar, cocoa powder and vanilla extract. Whisk well.
  3. Add the flax seed-water mixture and whisk well.
  4. Sieve plain flour, baking powder and salt in the same bowl.
  5. Mix the dry ingredients with wet ingredients.
  6. Scoop out equal portions of the cookie dough and roll the balls in the icing sugar.
  7. Place them on the baking tray lined with parchment paper. Keep distance between each cookie.
  8. Bake the cookies in a pre-heated oven at 180°c (360°f) for 12 to 15 minutes.
  9. Remove the tray from the oven and let it cool and serve {span class="bold1"}eggless crinkle cookies{/span} immediately or store in an air-tight container.
