Tweet Recipe Description for Jowar Uttapam Preparation Time: 20 minsCooking Time: 15 mins Makes 10 uttapams Show me for uttapams Ingredients For Jowar Uttapam1 cup jowar (white millet) flour1/4 cup besan (bengal gram flour)1 cup curd (dahi)3/4 cup finely chopped onions2 tbsp chopped tomatoes1/4 cup grated carrot2 tsp ginger-green chilli paste1 tsp finely chopped curry leaves (kadi patta)1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)1 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania) salt to taste2 tsp oil for greasing and cooking Method For jowar uttapamTo make {span class="bold1"}jowar uttapam{/span} we will make a batter first.In a large bowl out jowar flour, besan, curd, 1/2 cup water and salt to taste.Mix well. Cover batter and let it rest for 20 minutes.Add onions, tomatoes, carrots, ginger green chilli paste, curry leaves, cumin seeds, and a coriander leaves.Add 1/3rd cup water and mix well.Heat a non stick pan and grease it using ½ tsp of oil.Pour a ladleful of the batter and spread in a circular motion to make a 125 mm.
