Ingredients


Pyaz Aur Pudine ki Roti
2 cups whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
1/2 cup finely chopped onions
1/4 cup chopped mint leaves (pudina)
1 1/2 tsp finely chopped green chillies
salt to taste
1 tbsp oil

Other Ingredients
2 tsp ghee for greasing and cooking

For Serving
fresh curd (dahi)

Method

Pyaz aur pudine ki roti

  1. To make {span class="bold1"}pyaz aur pudine ki roti recipe{/span}, combine the whole wheat flour, onions, mint leaves, green chillies, salt and oil, mix well and knead to a stiff dough using enough water.
  2. Divide the dough into 8 equal portions and roll each portion into 125 mm. (5”) diameter rotis.
  3. Heat a non-stick tava (griddle) and grease it using ½ tsp of ghee or oil.
  4. Cook each roti on the tava and cook using little ghee or oil till brown spots appear on both the sides.
  5. Serve {span class="bold1"}pyaz aur pudine ki roti{/span} immediately with fresh curds.
