For rajma and urad dal

  1. To make {span class="bold1"}rajma and urad dal recipe{/span}, clean, wash and soak the rajma, chana and urad dal in a deep bowl with enough water overnight.
  2. Drain the soaked dals, add 4 cups of water, mix well and pressure cook for 4 whistles.
  3. Allow the steam to escape before opening the lid. Keep aside.
  4. Heat 2 tsp oil in a deep non-stick pan, add onions and sauté on a medium flame for 2 minutes.
  5. Add garlic, green chilli paste and mix well. Add the tomatoes and cook on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes.
  6. Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander cumin seeds powder and mix well.
  7. Add the cooked dal, little salt and mix well and cook on a medium flame for 5 to 8 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
  8. Add the lemon juice and coriander, mix well and serve {span class="bold1"}rajma and urad dal{/span} hot.
