Ingredients


For The Spinach Dip
2 tsp oil
4 tbsp chopped onions
1 tsp chopped green chillies
2 cups roughly chopped spinach (palak)
1/2 cup grated paneer (cottage cheese)
1/2 cup low fat milk
salt and to taste

whole wheat crackers or lavash

Method
For the spinach dip

    For the spinach dip
  1. To make spinach dip, heat the oil in a broad non-stick pan, add the onions and green chillies and sauté on a medium flame till the onions turn translucent.
  2. Add the spinach and paneer and cook on a medium flame for 3 to 4 minutes, while stirring continuously.
  3. Add the milk and cook on a medium flame for another 2 minutes, while stirring continuously.
  4. Add the salt and pepper, mix well, remove in a plate and keep aside to cool.
  5. Transfer it into a mixer jar and blend into a smooth paste.
  6. Serve the spinach dip hot with crackers.
