Plus, you can also make it healthier by adding a lot of boiled veggies like carrots, beans, potatoes, tomatoes and peas along with the semolina when cooking. Keep aside.Heat the oil in a kadhai and add the mustard seeds.When the seeds crackle, add the urad dal, curry leaves and green chillies and sauté on a medium flame for a few seconds.Add the onions and sauté on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes.Add the roasted semolina, 3 cups of hot water and salt and mix well and cover with a lid and cook on a slow flame for 3 to 4 minutes, while stirring occasionally.Add the lemon juice and sugar, mix well and cook on a medium flame for another 1 minute, while stirring continuously.Fill the {span class="bold1"}upma{/span} in a glass bowl and demould on a plate.Serve the {span class="bold1"}upma{/span} immediately garnished with coriander.
