This granola mix is the perfect healthy snack made of rolled oats, honey (if vegan use maple syrup), walnuts, almonds, cacoa nibs and coconut oil. It is inexpensive and not at all smeared with sugar like the store bought ones.

The medley of flavors contain sweetness from the maple syrup, nutty and crunchy from the nuts, chocolatey from the cocoa nibs and coconut oil to blend it all together.

This easy to do recipe is also very high on the nutrient and fibre list as oats help in lower the bad cholesterol in your body.

The mix can be had plain, with milk, curds or with almond milk or soy milk for vegan.

It can be made in large batches and can be easily stored in an airtight container.

Preparation Time:    Baking time:  15 minutes   Baking temperature:  180°C (360°F)   Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 1.5 cups

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl and mix well.
  2. Put the mixture on a lined baking tray and spread it evenly.
  3. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°c ( 360°f) for 10 minutes, while tossing them once after 5 minutes.
  4. Cool completely, store in an air-tight container. Use as required.
