Ingredients


For Creamy Mixed Vegetable Toast Sandwich
8 bread slices
2 tbsp butter
4 tsp sesame seeds (til)

To Be Mixed Into A Filling
1/2 cup hung curds (chakka dahi)
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup boiled sweet corn kernels (makai ke dane)
1/4 cup finely chopped cabbage
1/4 cup finely chopped green capsicum
1/4 cup finely chopped carrot
1/4 tsp garlic (lehsun) paste
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp finely chopped ginger (adrak)
1/2 tsp dry red chilli flakes (paprika)
1 tbsp grated processed cheese
salt and to taste

Method

For creamy mixed vegetable toast sandwich

  1. To make {span class="bold1"}creamy vegetable toast sandwich{/span}, divide the filling into 4 equal portions. Keep aside.
  2. Heat a non-stick tava (griddle), put ½ tbsp of butter and 1 tsp of sesame seeds and cook for a few seconds.
  3. Place 2 bread slices on it and cook till both the sides are light brown in colour from one side.
  4. Place a portion of the prepared filling on 1 toasted bread slice, cover it with another toasted bread slice and cook for a few seconds or till the sandwich turns golden brown in colour from both the sides.
  5. Repeat steps 2 to 4 to make 3 more sandwiches.
  6. Serve the {span class="bold1"}creamy vegetable toast sandwich{/span} hot.
