Heat a non-stick tava (griddle) and cook each roti, using ghee, till it turns golden brown in colour from both the sides. Serve hot or cold.

  1. Dust a rolling board with whole wheat flour. 
  2. Flatten the dough ball with your palms and place on the board for rolling. 
  3. Roll out each portion into a 150 mm (6") diameter circle using a little whole wheat flour for rolling.
  4. Heat a non-stick tava (griddle) and grease with ghee. 
  5. Place roti on hot greased tava. 
  6. Cook for 30 seconds while greasing the paratha on top.
  7. Flip over after cooking for a little bit. 
  8. Now brush some ghee on the cooked surface top ( as we going to flip over ) and cook for 20 seconds. 
  9. Flip over and your roti is ready.
  10. Serve immediately.

I made this for my kids and they really liked it, so i give them often in their tiffins to take to school with lemon pickle.
