Oat and Raisin Cookies ( Healthy Heart and Low Cholesterol Recipe)

Oats are a great substitute for low-fibre maida and raisins are the least fat containing dry fruits, making these cookies healthy and tasty. Raisins also lend their sweetness to the cookies, reducing the required sugar content. These cookies can be enjoyed by people with heart related diseases in moderation.

The cooking time may vary from oven to oven. Try baking for 30 minutes. If it is done, do not bake further.

Hi Punam, check the temperature while baking. Baking time and temperature varies from oven to oven. Keep checking the cookies in your next attempt to see how much time they take to bake in your oven. Once you see they turn golden brown take them out and let them cool.

Hi Vasudha Thank you for your feedback. The reason for the cookies turning hard may be the oven was not pre-heated properly and/or the baking tray may have been put to oven in the first rack. The best is to bake them in the middle rack.
