Quick Rice Kheer recipe - How to make Quick Rice Kheer

1 cup full-fat milk
1/4 cup cooked rice (chawal) , mashed
3 tbsp condensed milk
1/2 tsp cardamom (elaichi) powder
2 pinches nutmeg (jaiphal) powder

For The Garnish
1/4 tsp cardamom (elaichi) powder
1/4 tsp nutmeg (jaiphal) powder

For Serving

  1. Heat the milk in a broad non-stick pan, add the rice, mix well with help of a whisk.
  2. Add the condensed milk and cardamom powder, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
  3. Add the nutmeg powder, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 minute.
  4. Garnish with nutmeg powder and cardamom powder and serve warm with puris.

   Condensed milk is easily available in all retail stores in India. We don''t have the recipe for it.

It's true to it name. very quick to make. Not too sweet or too bland. Perfect recipe for times when you don't have the time to make an elaborate dessert.
