The most basic and common use of sliced bread is to use it in a sandwich. A really good whole wheat sandwich that everyone loves is a Vegetable Grilled Sandwich.  This can be made by grilling any type of sandwich, my favorite being the sandwich stuffed with shredded veggies and cheese.
