Tweet Recipe Description for Corn Pulao ( Corn Recipe) Preparation Time: 10 minsCooking Time: 8 mins Makes 4 servings Show me for servings Ingredients For The Rice2 1/2 cups soaked and cooked rice (chawal)1 tbsp butter salt to taste1/2 cup milkFor The Corn Mixture1 1/2 cups of boiled sweet corn kernels (makai ke dane)1 tbsp oil1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)1 tbsp chopped green chillies1/2 cup finely chopped onions salt to tasteOther Ingredients oil for greasingFor The Garnish1 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania) Method For the riceHeat the butter in a broad non-stick pan, add the rice and sauté on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes.Add the salt and milk, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes, while stirring occasionally. Keep aside.For the corn mixtureHeat the oil in a broad non-stick pan and add the cumin seeds.When the seeds crackle, add the green chillies and onions, mix well and sauté on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes.Add the sweet corn and salt, mix well and sauté on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes. Keep aside.How to proceedGrease a microwave safe bowl with a little oil.Spread the corn mixture evenly at the bottom of a greased bowl.Spread the rice evenly on top and press well.Just before serving, microwave on high for 2 to 3 minutes and invert on a plate.Serve hot garnished with coriander.
