Ingredients


For Instant Palak Dosa
1/2 cup spinach (palak) puree
1 cup rice flour (chawal ka atta)
2 tbsp semolina (rava / sooji)
2 tsp ginger-garlic (adrak-lehsun) paste
1 tsp green chilli paste
salt to taste
10 tsp oil for cooking

For Serving With Instant Palak Dosa

Method

For instant palak dosa

  1. To make {span class="bold1"}instant palak dosa{/span}, in a deep bowl, add rice flour, semolina, spinach puree, ginger garlic paste, green chilli paste, salt to taste and 3 cups water.
  2. Mix well to make a lump free runny batter.
  3. Heat a non-stick tava (griddle), grease it using oil and sprinkle a little water on it. It should sizzle immediately. Wipe it with a muslin cloth.
  4. Once the tava is greased properly, pour the batter using a ladle from the edges to the centre in a circular motion to make a round dosa.
  5. Put 1 tsp oil evenly over the dosa and cook the dosa on medium flame for 3 to 4 minutes or till crisp.
  6. Flip the dosa and cook on medium flame for a minute till crispy.
  7. Fold it into a semi-circle or a triangle and remove in a serving plate.
  8. Repeat with the remaining batter to make 9 more dosas.
  9. Serve the {span class="bold1"}instant palak dosa{/span} immediately with coconut chutney and sambhar.
